The place I'm going to tell you about is an abandoned park near where I live. It's located in a residential area. So, it's supposed to be a place where people enjoy spending their free time. However, it's not the case. The park occupies an area of around 1000 square meters, which is quite big. It's a shame that it's very poorly equipped. There are just some trees standing on the dry grass and there's no proper walk path. Therefore, it's not a lovely scene. I think several improvements should be made to it in order to better accommodate to the citizens' needs. First of all, I think a children's area should be set up, so that kids can have fun in it. There should be a swing, a slide and things like that. In addition, some new paths should be built so people can keep off the grass. Finally, to meet the needs of senior citizens, the park should have some benches, and preferably a little square. By adopting these changes, the park would become a popular place among people.
